How to weave a T-shirt

I am going to show you how to make a weave in a shirt to transform an over sized shirt into a form fitting one. In this blog I am just using a scrap sleeve from an old T-shirt I had to better show how to do the weave. I have seen this all over the internet and thought if i color the strips might help a little to understand the process.

*First cut strips in the shirt. Then give a little tug on each strip to loosen the fabric.

*Pull green strip out.

*Go behind the green strip and pull the purple threw the hole.

*Release the green strip.

*Pull the purple strip out, and then pull the orange strip threw that hole.

*Repeat process till you are done with all the strips.

*Keep going.....

*And going........

*Almost done......

*Just this last strip to pull threw....

*Now take your scissors and cut the loop in the middle..

*Take each side and make a knot to secure your weave/ladder/braid..

There you go you just turned an old shirt into something new and wonderful!!!
